Now, we’re looking for an experienced Senior Account Handler to join our growing team in Tewkesbury. The Role:

As a Senior Account Handler, you’ll play a key role in delivering outstanding service to our commercial clients. You’ll be their trusted advisor, helping them navigate complex risks, structuring the right cover, and ensuring they feel confident in their insurance choices. This is a hands-on role with plenty of autonomy, collaboration, and the chance to shape the way we do things.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Managing Key Client Relationships – Acting as the main point of contact for a portfolio of commercial clients, building long-term relationships based on trust and expert advice.
  • Structuring Tailored Insurance Solutions – Understanding each client’s unique needs and sourcing the right cover for them.
  • Handling Renewals & Mid-Term Adjustments – Taking ownership of client policies, ensuring smooth renewals and making adjustments as required.
  • Problem-Solving & Claims Support – Assisting clients with queries, troubleshooting issues, and guiding them through the claims process when needed.
  • Mentoring & Supporting Junior Staff – Sharing your knowledge and helping to develop less experienced team members.
  • Working Closely with Insurers – Negotiating competitive terms and ensuring our clients always get the best possible solutions.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Commercial Insurance Expertise – At least 3 years of experience in an account handling role, with a strong understanding of commercial insurance products and client needs.
  • Client-Focused Mindset – You thrive on providing great service, solving problems, and building lasting relationships.
  • Strong Negotiation & Communication Skills – Whether you’re dealing with clients, insurers, or colleagues, you know how to get the best outcome.
  • Attention to Detail & Organisation – Managing multiple clients and policies means keeping everything running smoothly.
  • A Team Player with Leadership Potential – You enjoy collaborating but are also happy to take the lead when needed.
