The Opportunity
We’re looking for a Junior Account Executive who is hungry to build a career, take on responsibility early and grow as the business grows.
You’ll start by supporting experienced account executives on a varied commercial portfolio, learning how we advise business leaders and design cover that truly performs. As your confidence and knowledge build, so will your responsibility, with your own clients, your own renewals and a real say in how we work.
This isn’t a role where you’ll be stuck processing paperwork. You’ll be close to clients, insurers and decision-making from day one. If you’re tenacious, curious and ready to push yourself, we’ll give you the platform to do it.
What You’ll Do
- Support the team with renewals, mid-term adjustments, new business quotes and client queries across a diverse commercial portfolio.
- Gather client information, prepare insurer submissions and compare terms to help shape the right recommendation.
- Build relationships with business owners and insurer contacts, becoming a trusted, responsive point of contact.
- Learn the technical detail of key lines including Commercial Combined, Package, Property Owners, Professional Indemnity and Cyber.
- Keep client records, documentation and compliance processes accurate, organised and up to date.
- Take ownership of a growing book of smaller accounts as your experience develops.
- Spot opportunities to add value for clients, from gaps in cover to new risks as their business changes.
- Bring energy and ideas to a small team, and help shape how we work as we grow.
Who You Are
You’re ambitious, driven and ready to work hard for your progress. You don’t wait to be told; you ask questions, chase answers and follow things through. Most of all, you want to grow your career with a business that’s growing too.
You’ll bring:
- Experience or no experience: we’ll teach you the technical side. What matters is a real desire to build a career in broking.
- Tenacity and hunger: a determination to keep improving.
- Clear, confident communication. On the phone, in writing, on video and face to face.
- Strong organisation and attention to detail, with the discipline to manage deadlines.
- Curiosity about business and how organisations succeed.
- A willingness to study towards CII qualifications (Cert CII or progress towards it is a plus, not essential).
- A team-first attitude: you’re happy to roll up your sleeves and help others win too.
